Summary
A non-confidential submission to the Commission for Regulation of Utilities supporting approval of MPID 345 as a matter of urgency. The Commission’s technical advisor judged fault-ride-through compliance likely to be the more cost-effective route while noting that no cost-benefit analysis exists. The submission attempted that quantification, concluded the public record cannot yet support a defensible figure, and sets out instead the specification a robust cost-benefit analysis would have to meet.
